Welcome, friend! I’m Rachel.

CNS Candidate & Certified Hormone Health Coach

For years, I watched motivated, disciplined women do everything “right” and still feel exhausted, inflamed, and out of sync with their bodies.

I’ve been there too. My own experience with persistent fatigue, digestive challenges, hormonal imbalances, and autoimmune issues reshaped how I understand health and what meaningful support really looks like.

I’ve spent over 15 years in the health and wellness field, beginning as a personal trainer and women’s health coach before fully transitioning into functional nutrition. That evolution came from seeing firsthand that workouts and willpower alone don’t resolve deeper, underlying imbalances.

Today, I’m a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) Candidate, Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach with advanced training in functional medicine, women’s hormone health, and blood chemistry.

I specialize in supporting women in their reproductive years who are navigating PMS, painful or heavy periods, cycle irregularities, acne, digestive concerns, and burnout.

My work focuses on personalized nutrition education and lifestyle support to help women better understand their bodies and build sustainable foundations that support hormone signaling, digestion, and energy over time.

When I’m not coaching clients, you’ll find me walking my dogs, spending time outdoors, experimenting with organic skincare formulations in my kitchen, or connecting with like-minded women in the Buffalo community.

Let’s connect! Say hi on Instagram @rachelsunley—I’d love to hear from you!

my story

Why I Became A Women’s Health Coach

For years, I struggled with debilitating fatigue, painful and irregular cycles, mood swings, digestive issues, hair loss, and acne. No matter how many doctors I saw, the answers were always the same: birth control, antacids, and laxatives. Quick fixes that never addressed the real problem.

Then one morning, at 23 years old, I couldn’t lift myself out of bed. My body had reached its breaking point. After multiple specialists and countless tests, I was diagnosed with Raynaud’s syndrome and an autoimmune condition (UCTD). I was given two options: rely on medication indefinitely or search for a deeper answer.

I chose the latter.

Everything changed when I met a health coach who introduced me to a root-cause approach. Within weeks of changing my diet, my digestion improved and my energy began to return. Over time, my symptoms resolved, and repeat testing showed no signs of autoimmune disease. For the first time in years, I felt like myself again.

That experience changed not only my health but also my entire career path. I became deeply committed to understanding how and why chronic symptoms develop, especially in women who are told they’re just “stressed” or that their “labs are normal.”

I’ve faced my own ups and downs since, including breast implant illness, mold-related illness, and pregnancy loss, but one truth has remained consistent: our bodies are not broken. Symptoms are signals. When we learn how to listen and respond thoughtfully, healing becomes possible.

Today, my work is rooted in helping women reclaim their energy, support hormone balance, and feel well in their bodies again, without confusion, extremes, or trying to figure it all out alone.
